Another old resort cabin that is remarkably intact with the
exception of the foundation. A poorly built foundation and
time have caused the building to shift significantly over the
last 6 months. The plan was to drop the building in its
place until the final design can be determined
Moving day!
The building was dropped and set on two courses of
blocks after being set on cribbing. Hydraulic jacks lowered
the building about 12 inches at a time. Once the building
was close to the ground, manual jacks were used to lower
the building into its final place,.
