This photo is taken in approximately the same location as the photo in the Resort brochure labeled "Timberlane is beautiful." This building once was the lodge and later a restaurant. This building burned in 1998 and all that is left is the chimney.

The historic Timerlane Lodge once
featured 9 cabins and 1800 feet of
frontage. Over the course of the last
30 years, lots have been split off and
cabins have been tore down to make
room for larger, year round homes.
The remaining lodge parcel contains
three cabins, a well house, and the
foundation from the original lodge
which burned in 1998.
The Turtle Shore cabin was once part
of the resort but was split off sometime
in the 1970's. This cabin was recently
renovated and is on our rental
program.
We are in the process of renovating
the Turtle Dove cabin-starting with
moving it from a deteriorating
foundation to a much more stable
place on the ground. Plans to
renovate this cabin are progressing.
There is also talk about restoring the
additional two cabins.
I am researching the history of the
resort so check back for more
information.
This is an old lodge sign that
was unearthed Memorial day
weekend, 2007. I believe it
was used in the 1960's .
